Soft = cold weather
Hard = hot weather
Medium = anywhere in between.

Bit of a matter of preference clunk in my opinion. I have always preferred hard (Pulex usually). But John's comments are the general rule.

Unger Soft all times of the year, can't get away with hard rubbers and had some bad experiences with Pulex.

Try them all and you will find what you like best.

again it's all down to personal opinion.

I only use soft in winter and usually the unger ones qas there tend to be more deals.
In summer I have used hard rubber nad got on really well with it. It can sometimes be brittle depending on the type of windows you are cleaning.

A few years back this forum used to buzz with discussions about which rubbers were best. That was before the days of WFP when everyone was still trad.

I have never really noticed much difference between the makes. I tend to order Pulex soft all year round but some blokes used to be strong about certain types and really rubbish others.

My view is changing them frequently is more important than which brand, but then I have always favoured a 10" squeegee on domestic. A bit slower but easier to control. Start asking which size is best and you have another subject for discussion.
