I have tried tiscali, ntl and had nothing but trouble, moved to B.T 6 months ago i now pay £12.99 a month and never had a problem. I think new cusyomers get the 1st 6 month for £9.99.
Never tried sky so cant comment on that one mate.

£27.99 just for internet with Orange! Phew! thats a lot.

I am with NTL (Virgin Media), had the TV & telephone for about 12 years and Broadband for about 5.
Must admit whilst a lot of other people gumble about the service I have done ok.
They do some good deals - 3 for £30 (TV, Phone, Internet). Few months ago I was paying over £46 per month for that. Rang them up to cancel TV, got transferred to a Customer Retention person and ended up with a £16.50 reduction per month, on going, not for 3 months or 6 months but on going. Just cause I made a phone call. I believe you have to remain pleasant with them or you get no where.

Forget Sky for internet. We had nothing but problems with the e mail system (which is vital for work). I got so fed up with it I complained, they said that they knew it was dire and wouldnt be asking me for the remainder of the contract because it was so bad. And that was him saying it!!

Since moved to O2 (8MB deal) and not only is it only £7.99 a month (unlimited downloads) it is faster than Sky at 3MB, and error free ;D  At Sky I was only ever getting 2.2MB even though its the same BT line.

Cheers

I'm with Orange and don't have any problems. I was on £17.99 but just had a reduction to £9.99 (that's the price, not an intro price) ;D

Give them a call and ask for a (financial) incentive to stay with them if you can be satisfied with the quality of their service.

Safe and happy surfing :)

Have tried a few different providers over the years but Bt is the best out of a bad bunch.

Hi

I'm with freeserve/wanadoo/orange and have been from the start. Never had a problem.

Just signed up with them for a new 18 month contract where for £24.99 I get my broadband, line rental with calls at 2.5p with certain calls free etc.

Was paying £17.99 for broadban. then with pipex had £10.50 line rental, £12.50 anytime option and 0.99p mobile option. Gonna save myself about £20 a month.

Hi,

I'm with 02 broadband which only costs me £7.50 a month (02 customer) for 8meg and unlimited usage and runs on the new adsl+2, customer service is spot on and never had one fault with them, no complaints that i could think of whatsoever!

Check broadband forums and you will notice that 02 broadband is highly recommended above all, i have been with pipex, bt & virgin and had nothing but probs!

Take a look at there packages for yourself at http://broadband.o2.co.uk/

Regards

Only neg I have is with their e-mails, which I don’t use (still with bt min cost)

Also dump contract with m-phone com gone as pay as you go.
