I've got a vauxhall combo, but for that amaount of water you would need the combo 2000,with a payload of 743 kg

I drive a pug partner. I've only had it two weeks so I haven't put a tank in it yet and I don't know the fuel economy. First impressions are good though.
Just like that

stick with the transporter, smaller vans tend to not give better economy.  we had a partner 1.9d a few years ago, only got about 30mpg, expert hdi does closer to 40mpg,we also have an 07 t30 transporter, it does 38mpg I think.

stick with the transporter.

What car is that Paul? I haven't heard anything about that.

Renault Trafic.

About 34 mpg, but only go maximum 5 miles to work up and down hills, and the rest is stuck in traffic.
If I was travelling further I would probably get 38+.

I must admit its the first transporter i've bought very impressed with it. its done a lot of miles 185000. and still pulls like a good one though it did cost a fair few pennys last mot!!  :o :o if it does that again i will part company with it ! suppose one good thing is they don't lose value as fast as others they seem to be popular with folks looking  to make them campers. so should not be too hard to sell thanks for your replys. ;D

Hi All,

Not really a useful comment ::)
But I drive a....................

Skoda Felicia with a trailer 8) 8) 8)

Now I would like a van but the tax man would charge me £500 per year tax just for using it.  However, using MY car, I can claim 40p per mile tax free travel allowance.
