sill cleaning

daft question should i stop the water before i brush the sills whether upstairs or bottoms cheers andy

No i don`t,i go across the sills with the water on there easier to clean with water on otherwise you have more chance of leaving brush marks.

I do ocasionally ( depending on window ) as it stops the water going into the crevises and leeching out dirt and causing more work for yourself ( clearing bits of dirt ), Luke

If you do a lot of sills with a flocked brush you`ll make more work for yourself,the brush will pickup all those bits from the sill and stay in the brush making rinsing on the glass a bit of a problem even with more water.
