ive just landed my firs proper contract now the guy needs to see me fri about bank details for pay i start it on 25 of this month just wondering how they will pay will i work a month then get paid or work a month and get payed the 2nd month if you get what i mean say 25 th feb to 25 march will i get paid on 25th april any advise before i see them friday really exited about this as its a good payer

the one i got is 3 times a week starting on the 25th so its on going but paying monthly so i will have to work a month then and 28 days later i will get paid for that mont is this right aspects

The best bet is to ask them they might pay you at the end of each month

PS if they dont pay with-in 30 days  (in accordance with the late payment of commercial debts act 1998) I normal send out a statement of over due invoices, and 9 times out of 10 they pay up

most of mine pay me 2 months after

as they get get a fax of the months invoices at the end of the month, they then pay that by the end of the next month

it works well for me, as im allways 2 months behind

thats how i thought it works with commercial work however many times they need you that month send invoices end of month get payed by end of following month is there anything i should watch out for with commercial work

well tommorows the day to see the manager who wants to speak to me about details of pay ect ect what would you say and ask or do when you meet them also what should i watch out for any advise i already know i got it so theres no probs there thanks poleman for invoices brilliant cheers
