Typical/average daily takings

just wondering what typical/average daily takings would be (per person). This is as a benchmark for newbies like me.

Hi Bonkors,
this is a hard one because guys don't like advertising their daily takings and you get guys who do and when it's posted it seems to cause arguments.
I don't think you will get a good response.
I would say, work out what you want to earn each day or each week and work towards that, once you reach your target then you can look to earn more if you want to.
Hope this helps.

Regards

It has helped indeed but thats the reason i put a poll on, i assumed that it doesnt tell you who voted what unless i have been mistaken. Therefore rather than just ask i thought i would put it in the form of a poll. Thanks asboss.

I agree with Adam (BH thats a first)  :o  :-X ::)

What you need to work out is your over heads! which will be everything, then what you need to live! then that will give you a figure of what you should be charging, I have heard a lot of window cleaners say one pound per window but that depends on where you live

PS if you dont have a WFP then get one as this will make you (in most cases) twice as fast

Daily takings for me are about 100 quid.  This is through choice as I prefer to work two or three days a week rather than 5.  But if I wanted, Im sure I could make it 200 per day takings.

Rather than post a poll, why dont you use the search function. Alot of people get cheesed off with this question because it seems to come up every week.

Some will ask why you have not got over £160.
Some people on here earn well over £200 per day ;D
I think a weekly total would of been better.Some days I earn  much more than others

not this old chestnut again, just keep your earnings to yourself why does everyone have to broadcast what they earn!

bonkors mate no offence intended but you should lock this now ;D if you want to compare what you are earning with everyone else dont bother mate you will end up either conceited or bitter.If your happy with what you make a day then good for you,relax and enjoy yourself ,if your not happy drive yourself a bit harder. what does it matter what everyone else earns ??? ??? these threads always end in tears mate ;)
