Yell Again

Hi Guys

Had Yell on again this week trying to get me to advertise.

As the directory was so successful they had reduced the price ::)

I asked about sponsored listing but she said they had gone but I could have a box in the top right hand corner for 800 plus vat.

She said they were selling like hot cakes so I asked for an example , took her a while to find one carpet cleaning bromley.

Had a look , didnt look worth 800 to me.

that is expensive Doug and I know that the stats are not very good on those partial sponsored listings. The main one used to cost £2400 but I can tell you how to make £800 work really well for you on Yell. I spend about £1000 on mine and got it back in 1st Month

THEY'RE BACK

Had them on the phone today, apparently my YELL.COM is a business success, I have had 33,000 hits and my business is doing well. They want me to renew and increase coverage.  If I had that many I cant understand why the phone isn't ringing off the hook!!!!!!!!

Gerry, your own website can tell you how many people were referred via Yell (as it can for any other medium).

They talk bullpooe, better advice from people on a forum like this, I am sure they don't think that people talk to each other like this  ???

Yep. Gotta say it. They make you sell your soul as a rep but cushion the moral blow with a £38k basic with all the trimmings. In the end I just could'nt look people in the face and lie any more. Thats why I'm in this game, so I can lie about how good I am ;D
