What is the best piece of advice or learned from a book to motivate you ?  You know the one when you wake up in a morning and you wanna pull the duvet over ya face .

I went to a seminar a while back, the guy taking it was called watt nichol - he is a motivational speaker and wayne rooney is amongst his client base.

absolutely superb, this guy will motivate anyone who listens
I've never been to bed with an ugly bird but I've woken up with loads!

One of my first customers was an old farmer and the immortal line that I remember

' Lad you get nowt for nowt '

Has stuck with me for over seven years.

Have you reached your weekly-monthly target if not,GET UUUUUUP.It`s to easy to turn over and parp, think of the pound notes or the fact that you`ll have less to do at the end of the week, what i do is hammer it for the first 3 days and then ease of the gas a bit for the last 2.

I don't have any trouble getting out of bed and starting but when i stop home for lunch that's when motivation takes a dive. I've also not had enough work so have got used to running out early. If i work till three that feels like a long day!

Is it me or do the days leading up to the holiday make for a better experience than the holiday itself ?

When customers ask how can you work on a day like today, I normally say to them " The wife says if I don't come back with some money, you won't get no tea "

Met a couple of old dears one cold frosty morning, they told me it reminded them of when they used to go sprout picking with their father, and one of them said her hands were cold, her father said " yer can't be working fast enough then ! "

leading up to my holiday is doing my head in, no way is it a nice experience, time seems to be going backwards  even the weather is trying to stop me from working, just wating for 5 foot of snow so I can put some pics on my site  ;)

"Early in the day, early in the week, early in the month."

Then I should have a few days free during the last week of the month to go mountain walking or road cycling or motorbiking!

(Or a couple of afternoons in bed with Mrs Malc Gold! :-[ :o ;D)

It's a game of three halves!
