i have 1 sed filter 1 carbon and 1 active carbon can i change the active carbon to a normal carbon so i have 1 sed and 2 carbon how will this effect the water

Hi MBS,

You can change the type of carbon filters around, for your purposes it probably will make very little difference. GAC filters are more efficient at filtering though so you may need to change the Carbon block slightly sooner.

so i dont need a gac filter then i can just replace it with a carbon block filter so i will have 2 carbon block 1 in left chamber 1 in middle chamber and sed in right chamber am i right alex if i do this how often should i change the filter then will it alter the tds out of the ro before di get back m8 cheers

In practice it should work just as effectively for you as it did previously.  How often you need to change them does depend on how much water you process.  If you use 400-500 litres five days a week, then I would recommend every 3 months, if you only use half that amount, then every six months.
