We never canvass in the rain, I think potential custies would think you are desperate (true for us) or mad...... (true again)....

Yes i do, picked up £700 of monthly work in the last two weeks canvassing in the wind and rain, if its to heavy just post cards or leaflets , posted some cards in the rain just before x mas and picked up a £50 house a couple of days later .   
  Try knocking appartment blocks there are plenty of new ones going up all over the place . If you need the work get out there .
