Water fed pole systems, need advice
« on: January 25, 2008, 04:35:11 pm »
I have been window cleaning for about 2 years now the traditional ladder way.
I have been thinking about getting the pole system but the cost has put me off, i have always believed in to be about £2000. I got talking to a window cleaner a couple of days ago, who uses the system and he reckons i could get a set up for less than £500. He says he bought his tank, pump and poles seperately and will give me the catalogue he uses.
If i can do this i intend to convert in the next couple of weeks.
Could anyone tell me where the best places to go or sites to visit.
I also need advice on how to purify the water. I have heard of tablets but this guy says there is a filtration he uses. Which do you find best?
On another point he reckons that he can work twice as fast with the system. Do others find this the case.
Currently i can earn around £15 per hour. What do people find they can earn with a pole system?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I would also be interested in talking to anyone who is selling anything to do with this system.
Where am I knocking today?

The DIY route is certainly a very cheap way of setting up.

Check out this page as it list all parts needed for one type of set-up.
