No location in your profile, so I can't comment if there's work out there for you. There is for me ;)

Another good time to canvass is 15:30, as the Mum's are usually home then after their part time work & picking the kids up from school.

actually i reckon if you can get a property right next to, or over the road from a school it would almost be worth doing it for nothing for the free advertising gained. Say about two and a half minutes past three?

canvassing must be like anything else, i have heard of lots of people canvassing on here,

and you can go out for 4 hours one day... nothing!

next day 2 hours and bring home 10 new customers

its really about perseverance...... leaflets are the same .. be it in smaller numbers.

the more you reap the more you sow.

you gotta just keep at it.

one thing i do know for sure is if you  are not canvassing or delivering leaflets.... then you wont get any work from that aspect of your business.   silly but true aint it.

Same here, I counted 20 other window cleaners in this area. And I got a couple of the biggest houses in the area. I'm nearing £1500 now, and I haven't canvassed in a long time. I need to get out again, but I'm going to wait till I'm fully wfp. :)
