questions about george
« on: January 22, 2008, 02:01:44 pm »
ive just downloaded the free trial version of george, and there a couple of questions i would like to ask all you george users. firstly ive just put some jobs in to the system on the next due date and it comes up fine on the diary but will it automatically repeat these jobs after the due date has passed or do you have to click on each job everytime to say that you have done it, hope you get my drift. also, say if i miss a given day from the diary because of bad weather etc, and cant do them to the next week, can you transfer the whole days work in one go or do you have to adjust each job seperatly.

You have to do each one opn it's own and it's a pain in the back passage.

George is now an essential piece of kit for me
If a job is overdue it will stay overdue untill you do it  just do the job when you next can then when you click job done it will move it to the next due date from the date you did it
And yes if you want to move a days work then yes you have to click on each individual job but its only a matter of moving your mouse over a box and clicking not really hard work  ;)
Give it a chance play around with it and get pocket george too

Steve- I know exactly what you mean.

If you press skip, it push's the job on four weeks, or whatever period it is between cleans. If you , ahemm, genuinely want to do it a few days later you just alter the date and press save.

As the above posters have said it is staggeringly brilliant.

Stop faffing and just buy it. Paul, the creator often comes on here, and answers questions.

Yep, great value for £50. Why do you want to bother changer the due date? I am currently doing jobs that were due a few weeks ago (due to xmas and injury to arm) but as I do them I just change the 'done date' to todays date and it automatically changes the date to 6 weeks from now (all of my jobs are 6 weekly)
