Im sat here working out the layout of the van

so

convicne me of the following

i need a tank in the van ( 250 L or 400 L, its not important )

i need hot water


now im having a 2nd bulkhead fitted in the rear, so i could have a 140 L hot water Cylinder in the rear, heat it up in the night and it would stay warm in the day ( yes i would fit it safely with some bluetack and double sided sticky tape )

my working practise hasnt changed 1 single bit ( except i get " you have a new van " fairly often from the customers )

ive gone down the van route as i wanted to start another little project and i needed a van to showcase what it is

Save on bluetack and tape - just use chewing gum! 

Why do you need convincing Matt? If your working practices haven't changed, why do all that work to your van? Does it fit in with your need to showcase your new project? If not, then don't bother with the hassle and expense IMO.

hi matt what hot water cylinder are you useing and what stuff do you need to make it work :what dose it look like and do you need it just for the winter
and how much will it cost you dude??

good point, no it will not help me with my other project, im allways hearing people tell others on here " get a van and a van mount ", so i thought i would look into it

BUT

i still cannot see how it would help me on my round, i would have to move the van more, i would have hoses over pavements and the road, i would have the hose going though dog mess and catching on rose bush's etc etc

if it aint brok3 don't fix it, just cos it looks nice doest mean it will earn you money, be realistic,

I quite often use up to 400lt a day on domestic houses so for that reason I would get a 400lt minimum tank. Imagine what a pain it would be to go home half way through the day to fill up cos your 250lt tank was empty.

I think you have said it all.

If you did downs too ( which you don't and wont)
If you wanted to work faster with better quality (not possible because you know)
If you were serious about making money and wanted your round to grow dramatically
If you can purify water pre van so that you could do away with the DI onboard, then and only then.

And assuming you already have a pump and a variflow, then...
SSSHH,,, But you could do worse than buy a Rinnai REU 58.(£249inc vat) and from this all things would follow.
