I have just deleted the item marked 'Unmoderated Forum' following a complaint from a site user an extract is shown below.

"and if one of my customers who do sometimes look at the posts on here were to see that link well I dont think that it reflects very well on all us other members on here who use the site to learn and share experiences"

I haven't looked at the particular site on this occasion but I did when it first originated...I too found it offensive albeit allegedly being a joke.

May I respectfully remind all of us using 'all' the sites that they are open to the public and Yes, some do look in as from time to time we get a request from one of them to substantiate this.

Please watch what you post and please don't use anything that could be construed as bad language or offensive in any way...

I feel embarressed about my comment about Mark betts & gerbels now, I hope none of my customers read it.

I feel thier is a need for this forum. Once the novelty of being allowed to say naughty words has diminished then it might be better. I find most people on these forums are too nice and worried what other people think, they want to be everybodies friend. because of this they don't speak thier mind.

the comment about Nick is a good example( although I would'nt have used such graphic comparissons ) I have the oppertunity to speak to lots of carpet cleaners both on the phone and by email and many of them do think that some carpet cleaners oversell the qualities of solutions spotters.

just my opinion ( oops there i go again trying not too offend anyone )

I have often wandered about the possibilty that one of my cusomers could look on this site and realise that i am quite new to the industry.
Is there anyway that we could make this a forum JUST for CC?

I cant imagine that too many "joe public"would want to come onto these sites......abit sad if they do.
It like us carpet cleaners sitting at home and thinking
"ummm why dont i see if there are any websites for artexers (or any other trades) that i can look at.

Hi Guys,

I feel it's a shame if people do not speak their minds .

You can see from my posts that I'm experimenting with m/s with mixed results.

As for the other site , if you want that sort of thing fine but personally it does'nt do anything for me.

I've always believed that if you cannot communicate without swearing,  then that really is a bit sad.We all know these words and we've all been in rough bars/football matches etc where they are used BUT we don't need them here.
