Hi ,

sorry to drag this old post up, but was looking for info regarding free websites,

most people will say you never get anything for nothing, but i was interested in this until i clicked on the link above, they require a credit card... even though its free...

then i read why,  can anyone tell me what they mean by  "beta" expiring,

as stated in the link " why do i need a credit card if its free"

im sure windowwasher can answer this one.

thanks

Gary.

i am also curious as to how much windowwashers would charge to set up a website for me, is it across the board /same for everyone or different prices for individual needs, sorry for sounding naive but i do not have a clue regarding websites.

beta is normally an unfinished product or a product in testing stage lets people tell them what the problems are if any and fix it. windows does this but sell you the software hence the updates all the time.

the credit card is to verify who you are and also in time I would lay money it will cost if you dont cancel, and if getting a free website and you want to stop you lose the lot including the domain, I did this ten years ago I learn from mistakes.

I hope this helps a little.
and I really hope I dont have to say I dolt you so in a year or 2. but you have been warned I cant say anymore, thats my opinion on it.
