Dont suppose anyone could reccommend the best way to carry the pole on the roof rack!

i think most of us carry them on a rack on the inside or a rack hanging from the roof on the inside. Or you could have the pole with the brush at the back, with the hose running along side it with some stretchy straps holding it on, or make up a little clamp bracket from bits from the local diy.

This is a ready made one or you can buy plastic soil pipe and all the fittings and make one for yourself

when i had a escort a had to put my poles on the roof rack and all i done was put a bungee strap and strapper them to it, they never cam off, wel!! except when the roof rack fell off the van and the pole and ladders went with it

Thats what i used to do but when you spend £££'s on a pole its time to do things a little different just in case

I have a alley pole carrier I don't use anymore and its lockable and I'm giving it away, but I'm not getting into carriers, so its pick up only.

Hi Tolzy82,
 I just got a drainpipe from b & Q and tied it on top of my roof rack with jubilee clips. you can get a rubber stopper that fits into the drainpipe at either end. You have the brush end poking out at the rear of the car or van. It's worked great for 6 months - no probs. Cost me about £20 quid in total.
