They keep sticking to the letter box so I went back to using leaflets.Just ordered 10,000 ass kickers. ;D If you do go with the magnet idea make sure you get your usp in.

And don't take any notice of mickey takers there have been a lot more stupid ideas on here than fridge magnets.

Move to larger custom built premises
As a direct result of the company's continued growth and success,
D.P.Design & Print is moving on to bigger and better
premises on November 1st 2007

Our recent purchase of a 8 Tower Web Offset press
has facilitated the need to have built custom premises
to house the new piece of equipment. .

Unlike sheet fed presses Web Offsets use reel paper
which is substantially less expensive than traditional
sheet paper - That coupled with direct to plate -  On-line
set up -Simultanoiuse Double Sided Printing and
In-line Cutting and Folding we have been
able to cut our prices even further.

.
Kind Regards
Mark

put your ideas onto the leaflet proposition topic thread and i'll give you some input.
The fridge magnets are a bit of sarcasm aimed at people like me who turn all this into a science-thats okay more money and customers for me.

It is a genuine enquiry, I am trying to come up with a way of ensuring that my one off and infrequent customers re use my service instead of the first number in the phone book or local paper.

Apologies.(but I didn't take offence) I think pens with phone numbers on are a good idea, there should really be someone targeting us with these kind of marketing products- in the same way that DP print have established themselves as specialist window cleaning leaflet providers.

Perhaps I can find someone and they can provide me with a load of free stuff just like erm...... Doh!

I think fridge magnets are a great idea ,provided people actually attach them to the fridge, It might be worth trying one that leaves a space to fill in other numbers as well so that it stays on the fridge eg.

The only fridge magnet that I have says on it "Chocolate can shrink your clothes"   ;D

Fridge magnets sound an OK idea but I wonder how much wastage there would be.  Maybe if you issue them to existing customers who want them, then your name/number is on the fridge when your customers have visitors.  I question whether the expense would be viable as a cold calling tool though.  Of course, I could be wrong.

As he seems to be talking about once a year jobs then it should be something that American cleaning companys are familar with. Pat and the rest of you in the states what little reminders do they use?

We just call them up and tell them its time to get their windows cleaned, If its been a year or two we send a flyer to all of them with a reminder of our phone no. etc, Every year in the spring we send a coupon to all customers we have not heard from for over 2 years with a 10% discount on current prices
