ahh found them

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/250L-Water-Fed-Pole-System_W0QQitemZ140194474332QQihZ004QQcategoryZ112579QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/500L-Water-Fed-Pole-System_W0QQitemZ140194475556QQihZ004QQcategoryZ112579QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

at those sort of prices id of said worth it...but not £2k!

im watching these, i wanna see how much people are willing to pay for what is essentially a diy system. like i say if they stick at these prices, worth it, £500 for the 250 litre is a bargain and £700 for the 500 litre system. worth it then. wouldnt pay more than £800 or £900 for either system myself though

If they don`t reach the prices stated on here they won`t sell, there only the bidding prices at the moment you know what Ebay is like if the price is not high enough they normally say reserve not met.

For those of us fortunate enough to have found this and the pros forum we are aware of the potential dangers and the good quality systems that are available from major suppliers.
There are still many out there who don't have this luxury nor the basic knowledge to go wfp. Pro systems was quite brave to post on here and if he learns from the comments and doesn't take them as a personal insult, he could go on to produce something as good as many.
But he needs to concentrate on safety 1st (a 1/2 ton off centre tank full of water is asking for trouble) then appearance.

You lot are amazing, the fellas asked you to comment on what you think of his DIY van system.

And many have provided some very constructive critisism. But to ridicule the man because he wants to offer a fitting service to other cleaners I think is dissgraceful.

The fella is trying to earn a living, so for that hes a conning b******d preying on the vulnerable. By all means give him the advice he wants but dont slag him off for it.

And of course its going to be dearer than doing it yourself the man has to earn a profit doesnt he?.

Some arseholes on here.

is he having a laugh, is he having a laugh

lets just break it down,

merlin         £250
di vessel                      £30
tank          £115
pump and battery                    £100 ish
hoselock bit      £20 odd
hose reel and hose                   £100
protecta                      £30
pole                                         £100

ok so we’re looking about £750 ish for that setup, and you want £2100  :o

im sorry to dampen your buisness, but that is a con! £1000 fitted for that setup would be fair, as its just a diy job!

around £1500 for fitting! crikey!

anyway, for that sort of money id go to somewhere like pure freedom for less i might haten to add at £1995 and have something that looks superb like this

instead of a home made bodge job for more money! im sorry but you wont get away with them prices, no way no where no how

well said

I dont think the guy is trying to con people at all, I am guessing that he has made up the system he is happy with it and is now selling it, I personally think it needs to be changed for safety, but thats IMO.

if he was trying to con people he would not come on here and post a picture, maybe he did this for our comments  :-\

I wish the guy the best of luck and I hope for his sake he has product liability insurance.

Over£1100 labour for that and it's not a con? I know what i think. There's about two hours work there by the look of it provided you get the floor coated in Tarmac first.

how many other give tarmac floor ?  ::) lol

I agree the price is not the best in the world for that system but 2 hours to make it up and then install I dont agree with, I would love to see anyone get the bits then set them all up, paint floor and then install in 2 hours it just cant be done.
