Yes you do, some poeple don't think so but it's crucial to have something to control flow, either a varistream or return to tank method etc etc. A varistream is the easiest way to do this so you have complete control of your water usage, Luke

i have a 400 upright in mine so yes...just one thing...you have to think where your poles will go

mine go through the tank, they also come into the cab and asmost touch the window...hence the reason i smashed my windscreen the other day...doh

but then uing a flat tank looses all your floor space...but dont say i didnt tell you so lol

(ps my van doesnt look like that in the back anymore, changed it that many times. but you'll get an idea  ;) )

For a single user:

Varistream or Eco-flow with a Shurflo 75psi/100psi.

I have never used a varistream/ecoflow though, but I do use more expensive Flojet pumps with a flow valve on the pole hose. Single user, use a 60psi with 100m of microbore, twin users 100psi with 2x 100m microbore. There is a way of balancing the pressure switch on the Flojets to exactly match your system set-up.

There is an alternative to the varistream, its the Eco Flow regulator, it does the same as the varistream its just easier to set up adjust.

I'm using my varistream with flojet 100 psi pumps, and it works very well.  The flojet have a much higher flow rate which makes them ideal to use with a varistream as you can turn it down.

You can fit the Cleantech 400ltr flat tank in a berlingo and then put a plywood false floor over it. You only lose about a foot of height in the van and all the corners can be boxed in for storage spaces.
