I think John Bolton and myself 'knew' Ron better than most and spoke with him regularly,  and even we don't know if his name was even Ron.

Actually miss my little 'discussions' with Ron  :

Sherlock, Ron   was just a wind up merchant  most of it light hearted and he did like to "GO FISHING"
and their were plenty who took the bait  
I did speak on the land line and through email to him and he did seem a genuine nice guy, he even invited me to play golf in france at a friends Chateau.
As for other forums , C/T i used to frequent but not in the recent past........ I was chastised and rapped on the knuckles for a light hearted reply to a post. So dont bother now.
......... and all because I said a bottle of free spotter on its way to somebody praising Nick
