MY SYSTEM - AND A PICTURE!
« on: December 18, 2007, 07:19:37 pm »
Well today I gave my van a clean inside and out and decided after putting all the junk back in to take a quick picture. I had just pressure washed the floor inside so all the ply is wet!!! I know it probably doesn't look like much but it does to me!! And before anything is said, yes that tank is secured, you just can't see the fixings. My 50ft Super-lite 2 and 30ft Brodex were'nt in the picture as they made it look cluttered!!! And yes I do carry nine cones!

where do you get them yellow cones at the back from luke ( back meaning at the front of pic  :-X , I now have about 8 signs that are rubbish and one that is great but cost £50.

The cones look great If possible can you get them with no writting on, as I tend to brand everything we have with logo's etc.

There from here:

http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/shop/products/safety-equipment/hazard-cone.html

They are brilliant cones, they stack and don't blow over and can be used to help guide hose really well. The lettering is just stuck on with a durable sticker and could be peeled off, Luke

You need your eyes testing!! There are 2 side doors. And even my 50ft Super-lite fits in just perfect without compromising the integrity of the bulk head. And how do you know I don't have a water heater? As a it happens I don't but I will soon, Luke

Luke what is stopping your tank from sliding backwards or forwards out of interest.

Fittings through the chassis. The bands around the tank are around the tanks recesses/grooves, so that forward/backward movement isn't possible, you just can't see them in the picture as I lowered myself for the picture, Luke

Thanks Martin!!! :) I'm very happy with my system. It does everything I want as quick as I can possibly do it. I can work to 50ft and run 2 men all day off the 500ltr tank. Luke

Luke, why don't you mount your varistream by the back door, assuming you take your hosereels out on most cleans. I extended the wiring on my varistream so it's right by the back door so it saves me climbing in and out of the van to switch the varistream on. Nice tidy van by the way. Is it a Scudo?

On a side note @ windowwashers, I thought you had a pure freedom wfp system? Didn't know they do hot systems as well?

No side doors, no bulk head holes for longer poles in roof, no water heating system.
What's your problem? ::)

That's more kit than I've got.
I've got a tank (wonky)
A pump (bolted on the side of van)
Battery (in a basket cable-tied to the side)
Two poles (rattling about in the back)
A washing up tray to put my brush in.
No protection stuff on the floor.
...and so on...

Going to slag it off (in a 15k van)?
Who cares? I can do my job as well as you or anyone else.
Does it make you feel important if you've got loads of crap in your van?
