it does depend on the area you live and the distance between the cleans. but i think that £8 is good. you do get people that do houses for £4, £5 but they are nomally the beer money wcs
i priced a new one today and i told her £13 (4 bed) and she argeed, but she said that the last wc only charged £7.50, and said it was expensive  ???

defo depends on where you are also what is problem charging £5 a house if you can park van and then clean 7 of them without moving surely that better than spending all day packing and moving around. How did you build your rounds up when you started i had areas where i did only one to start with then picked up several more nearby

£5 is to cheap i think £8 is ok for a real basic 3 bed semi ive got lots at £8-£9 but any new jobs i go in at min of £10. ive got 27 houses in two streets most £8 very good earner. Earn more on them than the £20+ a house days ;D

£5 houses are 2 bed semis easy access total of 5 windows no such thing as too cheap try charging £8 for that where i am and you will get no work plenty of blokes round here cheaper than me they not reliable tho . I have said this before but you price stuff according to where you are in country/level of competition etc as well as other factors

Five months ago I took over a row of four terraced (large terraced houses mind) and charged them £12 each.  Their previous window cleaner who dropped them was only charging them £6.00 each (didn't you Squeaks  ;D).

He reckons I should be on Rogue Traders. ;D

I do a lot of work in this same area (about 8 days per month), and it's one that's avoided by many window cleaners; access is difficult; nigh impossible with a van-mounted system; and it's difficult to do with ladders too.

It's ideal territory for a backpack and a trad partner, so I charge well in this estate; though I do have some underpriced customers from when I first started, but they're nice customers, so I don't mind too much.

Round here I think £8 to £10 would be fair for an 'average semi', though I do know guys who charge a lot less, and others who charge a lot more.  My cheapest semi is £6.50 (I haven't put the price up in five years, and my most expensive is £25; 'cos it's out in the sticks (it has a small conservatory too).

These days you`ll be surprised how many people are shocked by how cheap some WC`s are,to the point that they`ve got rid of them after they`ve been late a couple of times they just think there in it for the short term and would rather pay more just to be sure they will be done on a regular basis,be honest would you expect to pay 10 quid for someone to come round your house and do a job for you,i know i wouldn`t.Charge peanuts you`ll get treated like dirt, charge a decent amount and you`ll get some respect from customers.
