Has any one have one of these free websites, i think there was a post on here a while ago but cant find it, having a few problems with mine.

there is a free office package called open office. I think you can download it at VENUNET.COM.
You can also safely download lots of other good stuff from here. Dai

You've got the wrong end of the stick Dia. Microsoft let you biuld your website with their templates if you let them host it. It's very cheap.

I had already bought an £180 frontpage programme which is part of office. Smithy means that the details etc of this are on the office website which is free and very usefull if you've got the office suite like me.

and steve...i dont know how it happened on google...it just did. you can find me on other search engines aswel. it must be something microsoft do for you...?

if you go into help, there is a a section about getting onto google n all that, but like i say. i did nothing

you have to be very lucky to get on a search engine the same day as it normally takes over a month, it depends when google send the spiders to crawl, LWC if you didnt add yourself to google you will have been added somewhere maybe and directory or something and they then index your site.

Little tip do not try and spam search engines you will get yourself banned, there are many things to do to improve ranking, this can take alot of time and effort being on websites with alot of trafic is good, some of the free directories I would stear well clear of as they get placed well above you and when people click on the link to view the site they find the other 20 or 30 other compaines listed and may never find you.
