We have a 6.5kva generator for our Karcher 745. That is a quite large piece of kit but it is all in the initial starting.

Hello, you need to look at the plate that tells you the power of the unit ie if it says 3000w then you will need at least a 3 kva generator to power it but the generator will be running flat out. I have run my 3kw stean m/c on a 2.5 kva but it grunts and warms slowly, ideally you need at least a 3.5 to run a 3 pin plug
