Why do I still believe be them?
« on: December 06, 2007, 07:14:13 pm »
Well we had a severe weather warning here in North wales today.
With my work being 25 miles away, I never ventured out.
It rained for 20 mins around dawn, and not a drop after all day. Another day wasted due to the weather forcast.
Well not entirely, I have finally got started on my books. Dai

I never look at the weather forcast anymore cause you plan your day round it and it turns out diffrent to what they say. We are out in any weather rain or shine ( well almost any weather )

Weathermen aren't always right. I look out of the window each morning to get my weather forecast :)

Is that the one from Pioneer? If so I had it and lost it when my PC crashed, Can't find the disk now either. I wish I was techy minded enough to make sense of these programmes. As soon as I go near Excel it a disaster.
I have just started a data base in the works suite, that seems a bit more simple. I also save it onto a memory stick, once bitten. Dai

Jeff, I have just added it to mine.
The problem we have, is that when the wind blows from the southwest, most of the rain falls on the mountains. It can lash it down all day in Capel Cerig, and be dry as a bone a few miles away in Llandudno.
With the forcast they gave this morning, I wasn't going to drive 25 miles to sit in the van all day. It's ok when your working local, if it gets too bad you pop home. they even got it wrong with the wind too, promising gales. Heavy rain and high winds is a no no for WFP as far as I'm concerned. Dai
