The water pump's in our 450 psi machines are much bigger than the 100-125 psi pumps found in many, I think you may find that fitting them in is the issue, along with water recovery, your vac motors need the ability to recover the extra water used.

This comes as a complete kit inc pipework, pressure guage, mounting etc.

Malc,
can't comment on the 200 psi reliability as it's in my back up machine and doesent run much, but it will be the same design as my 400 psi Ninja wich is very reliable and has run for 18 months without attention.

I have just stripped the pump head on the 400 psi and all is well. Cleaned, checked for wear and regreased the piston etc, very easy to do.

I have found the 400 psi to be much more reliable and robust than the 135 diaphragm pumps.

Ashbys will convert to the 400 psi for around £500. Better done by Ashbys as it can be quite involved.

I did the 200psi conversion myself, took about a day....much more work than it looks, fitting extra elbows and connectors etc and it says on the instructions, fitted in one hour  :o

I had a raptor and this is the same pump as fitted in that.

remember you'll need to buy an uploader(£23) and at least one high pressure crimped hose. like john said they are a little bit complicated to plumb in especially if you haven't done it before.

Don't thank me too fast, I was bidding against you :D :D

I thought I'd bid  £100 just to keep it as a spare. glad you're happy with it & got it for such a good price.

I found out some interesting stats about this pump. It only spits out 3.6 lpm at with the Fasco motor at 300watt draw. So on a triple jet wand you can never use more than 01 tips.
In the new year I'm changing the cam to a 220 stroke and Pumptecs M4 368watt motor - this will give me 6.2 lpm and 300psi which I think will speed my HWE work up no end.
If it aint broke... Mess around with it till it is, and then fix it :D
