we all need contracts to keep the pennies rolling in, but i wondered what contracts other people have for pressure washing?,   it keeps you going through the winter.  the phone always goes dead on the domestic front at this time of year but commercial should be all year round really.

i heard someone say they had a contract jet washing lorries down in the winter.
someone else cleaned graves
someone else cleaned boats etc

just interested,   i dont have any contracts as yet but im looking to have one or more in the next year hopefully. ;)

you need to get in touch with firms who use lorries or supply them as in the winter the salt off the roads makes them a real mess.

I have done my fair share of lorry cleaning for both general purposes and MOT steam cleaning and as long as you dont mind getting filthy, cold, wet, smelly and always being told you've missed a bit then its a way of making a few extra pounds.
I would avoid large transport companies as these tend to have their own wash facilities, but you could try smaller firms who have a yard with decent drainage or local skip, waste companies as these tend to be the worst and worth a bit more but hope you have a strong stomach as sometimes it can be interesting what you end up taking home on your wet weather gear.

I once looked into getting a yard for it but people dont seem to like that sort of thing being on an estate even if its looks completely run down????

We pressure wash for a supermarket chain - all over the country.

This has stopped now though as they are building to their busiest period but we will be back down to Kent mid January to kick in the new year.

On these jobs we do everything from high level cladding, gutters, signage, canopies to the low level wall, kerbs, car parks, graffiti removal, chewing gum removal

I have a 400 litre flat tank in the van although you can get a lot larger but would not know exactly what you can get in it.
Vans great though and definately worth buying as you get several extras thrown in which you dont get in the vauxhall or renault alternatives
