hi all can anybody tell me how cold it has to be for our pure water to freeze thanks andy

i had this last year with frost on the ground it froze my hose up .
where theres muck theres money

ive had 2 - 3 inches of ice on the top of my 25 L barrels before

i still worked i just pushed my hose in the ice turned on its side and away i went

it was minus 4 though

in a tank takes quite a long while, in your hose it can be within 15 or so mins, stop like i did on friday for 5 mins and the hose at the top of pole connected to brush had frozen solid  (got my hands round it blowing on hot air for 2 mins) than back to work this time I did not stop for 3 hours
