what to do next

i have been cleaning windows for 16 years now and i have gone as far as i can with the residential side. i am thinking about moving into the comercial side but am not sure if there is enough work i live in the northeast. does anyone have any good ideas i have the workforce to do other things but with winer coming i would like to branch out into other areas.

any advice would be gratelly appreciated.

Hi Lee,

Although we have residential and commercial work, they are just descriptions. A window is a window is a window, and if you can clean it - it's fair game.

Move onto commercial work by all means, but don't think of dropping your residential stuff - the cashflow is normally much better and commercial jobs require invoices before they'll process payment.

If you're looking for other types of work, have you thought of a pressure washer for drives and cladding? That might be worth considering.

expect to wait a month for commercial money after they have the invoice.

 Big commercial work= risk assesments and health and safety hassle which hasnt yet hit the domestic world but looks like it will.
