Cat S@%t is the worse smell IMO if i find there is to much I refuse to do where it is as I am not charging to clean up my stuff after in the price I quote.

Never had a problem with it.

Cats crap in corners of bushes and places out the way, dogs crap right in the middle of the drive or garden.

I don't do hardly any houses with dogs anyway, and don't take on any new ones with dogs.

Actually I think cats are worse than dogs. At least with a dog you can see the log, whereas with cats they're crafty and bury it 1/2 inch below the soil or gravel and the 1st time you're aware of it is when yer trainers are caked in it >:(

There's also the hygene aspect if you should get it on your hands.

I have lost customers over it as I'm sure others have done. I don't get why people would want to live surrounded by faeces!

because some people are plain dirty IMO I would rather lose a customer than put up with the smell of it in my van and all over my shoes etc

Problem seems to be they pee everywhere and this patio has no cement between the slabs so it must sit in there. I have two really bad ones like this - trouble is one of them is my wifes boss. No she doesn't pee everywhere it's her dogs.

took on a customer last january, there was so much sh%t on the decking in the end i gave up trying to dodge it, thought i would use their hose to rinse my boots after the clean, before i got in the van.........finished clean........outside tap frozen solid!!!!!!!! had to drive hom with my van window open!, went back 2 days later and said look, no offense but if you want me to clean your windows you are going to have to shovel up your dogs mess..... i text the day before most of my customers anyway, never seen a piece of sh%t at this house since, i think they were well embarassed when i went back though.

I went to a little bungalow belonging to a disabled man in a wheelchair. His dog, a labrador cross had been using the small postage stamp of a garden as its private toilet and the grass was covered in it. trouble was the grass was also about six inches high so you couldn't see it until you were walking on the stuff. ugh.

I don't mind dogs but dog owners........

nothing and i really do mean nothing(cold weather hot weather bad payers moaners whatever) winds me up more than dirty b*****d dog owners who dont clean up their pets crap. I have dropped customers because of it in past and lost hours of work because i have to go home and clean all my gear whether it was ladders when trad or hoses and reels now i am wfp. Think its harder to dodge with wfp did a bungalow last month gave them same price as one next door cos same design but if i had seen back garden first would have said no way tried to weave hose in between the bigger heaps but no good got it everywhere boots hose reel trolley then had to reel in with no gloves so all over me only good bit was when paying she came to door eating sandwich and pressed 11 pound coins into my palm and gave my hands a good squeeze as she thanked me for a job well done i said enjoy your lunch and went home to clean up i hope the manky cow got worms never going back  >:(

Yuk; that is absolutely disgusting!  Why some people would not pick up after their dog is hard to understand. ???

Maybe it is worth mentioning when you get a new customer; pick up yard first because if we have to pick it up we charge for it; but it must be picked up.

Anyone "smell" more money making opportunity? :o Maybe a new service to offer? There are such services around. I heard a company advertise that they will pick up after one dog for $10.00 per week; if you have 2 dogs it is $18.00.

I pick up after my small toy poodle in my huge yard, and he only does "tootsie roll sized" droppings.  ;D  I could not do this as a service but some one has to!

Cheers  :-*

I know what you mean; it is something I could not do either; my own little dog is enough.

"Dog Duty". That is the name of the company I hear advertise on the radio on a regular basis. They are in Austin.

They are apparently real successful at what they do; pick up poo! They advertise "we scoop poop".  :o

If some one wants their windows cleaned on a regular basis you would think cleanliness is important. You would take for granted that a yard/ garden would be clean.

Cheers,
