Hi all , I've got a half decent job booked for next week full detached house beige wool carpets everywhere the carpets are 20 years old but well looked after , well protected the problem is the drauth marks. The customer has been using a national company and they have never made a effert to remove these marks . When I did the survey I got movement using ultrapac renovate.

My Question , Is prochems filter out any better than ultrapac

no, for the want of a better word filter out is a weaker solution, I would try UPak hot and a good dwell HWE and then repeat.

John ,
I have never used it, but ultrapac has worked well for me both on draught marks and soot marking.

I am tackling a job on tuesday , filtration marks all along the edges were the fitter has been too heavy handed.
Explained to custy the reasons, charge a little extra and dont promise the world.
Most importantly, explain the possibility of them returning over a period of time, unless the cause is of the problem is rectified.

stick with recommendations on the bottle just more applications, obviously be sensible but hot water does work better and dwell time and aggitation.

Shaun is right re hot solution with U/P Ren. Personally I use traffic clean for draught marks and find it works just as well as long as its hot and its the slightly cheaper option. I keep UP for soot. They do need a good brush though (by hand).

Hi all

I was told by my supplier that Filter Out is exactly the same as Ultrapack Renovate, its just already diluted.

used both, they are very similar, however I think ultrapack works best.
