dust downer
« on: November 10, 2007, 10:43:56 am »
Hi

Can someone help.

How does a dust downer work? Is it really necessary given that the ninja dry solvent kit does not use water to damp down the dust , does the solvent do the same job? Who sells dust downers?

I was thinking of using my old ninja for vacuuming a lot of large curtains I have to clean, ( as well as my sebo vacuum cleaner). Do you think a dust downer is absolutely necessary?

Thanks

David just buy a decent upright that has pile lifting qualities , easier and quicker.

upright that has pile lifting qualities on curtains ;D

David

On curtains NO, on a very large carpeted area YES (dry fluff and debris will soon block the filter) think I paid about £50 (the customer) for mine a few years ago, cant remember where I got it from, ask your machine supplier, you will also need a turbo head for it (carpets that is)
