Pump cleaning
« on: November 05, 2007, 01:53:29 pm »
What do you use to flush your pumps through? Looked on a search but anything to do with pumps came up, I do use powder sometimes in my tank and know this can deposit in the pump so what is the best method of cleaning?

just run some freshwater through it, you should have a filter at the bottom of your tank which stop any big stuff going into your pump. fit your solution line and put an open Q/C on and let it flow back into you tank. 1/2hr of this should flush it through.
