Have to say alex that the new nav on the site is 1000 times better, I recon you will get way over 50% of customers saying the site is great now, far far easier to find what you want

Websites good but cant get hold of anyone on the phone!! I called midday yesterday for some resin, left a msg...again at 2.30, then another 3 times til bout 4.30, as i needed it asap!

I had to go elsewhere in the end.

At the moment, orders are taken primarily through the website and the phone is offered as a support service. 

I know that Kirsty was not in the office yesterday afternoon but would have responded to any phone messages, either later that evening if appropriate or first thing this morning.  I realize this is of no help to you as you needed something in a hurry and I will forward this thread to her for her information. 

We are hoping to be in a position to provide more telephone support in the near future.

I've just read your thread - you were call number one on my "start ringing these people at 9.30 list".  Glad you managed to get hold of your resin, my apologies we weren't able to help you. 

As Mrs A said we are currently looking at siginificantly increasing our telephone cover in the near future.  Hopefully that will solve our communication problems.

Im glad your going to increase your phone coverage because your catalogue is great as are your prices and when I do get hold of you you couldnt be more helpful, you only issues ive ever had with you is getting hold of you on the phone.

As your tinkering with your website do you mind if I suggest that you add delivery options to your website - as you use ANC for your deliveries and I know they have options ie saturday, before 9am, before 10am, before 12pm, next day & standard delivery - cos sometimes it doesnt matter what it costs you just need it 

Oh and are you planning to start selling delivery pumps again as that seems to be a glaring omission from your website.

Thank you for your comments.  I will forward them to Kirsty.  We already send everything next day delivery as standard when using our courier service ANC.  Unfortunately in our experience this has not always been achieved by them even though this service has been requested and paid for by us.  I'm sure we could add Saturday delivery as an option although again we will not be able to guarantee this - it will depend on the courier service fulfilling the request made by us.

I take note of your comment about delivery pumps. We did sell these at one time, but on our audit we realised that we made no money on them due to the warranty service that the manufacturers offered to us (send pump back at our cost and pay a £30 checking fee)and the warranty service that we like to offer our customers (i.e. instant replacement with no checking fee or postage charge).

This may be under review if we can arrange a new warranty set-up with the manufacturer.

Thanks for the reply, you do offer next day and usually that fine but for example the order a placed last week ended up coming out on friday (because of the problem ordering poles) and had I realised that the couriers do a special saturday delivery service I would have paid the extra no doubt.

And obviously thinking ahead to an emergency situation paying extra for a pre 9am delivery would be great.

I appreciate what your saying about the delivery pumps and thought it would be something along them lines as to why you no longer sell them, its just again refering back to last weeks order I placed a good sized order with you and the only thing I had to go elsewhere for was the pump.
