It was Me on Radio 2 today. Listen again!!
« on: October 23, 2007, 06:15:55 pm »
Hi Guys, it was yours truly on with Jeremy Vine today on radio 2, Paul from Devon, and yes I did say I use around 300 LITRES a day and there are guys in our industry who do use 1000Litres a day, thats only one IBC! So thank you to you guys on here in previous topic who defended me, Jeremy Vine did get it wrong and say 300 - 1000 GALLONS!

Any way I listen constantly to Radio 2 and when this subject came up felt impulsed and bl**dy angry so had to phone in!

Check out Jeremy Vines web page for a 'Listen Again' facility so you can hear the whole topic being debated.
Follow this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/vine/

I'm not sure they have added it yet but when they do it'll only be there for one week.
Come on guys listen in and E-Mail the show with your comments.

We have to defend our industry from this latest hurdle that this crappy government is putting in front of us!

Hope you enjoy the show, I certainly enjoyed ranting and raving in front of 7 Million people! Ha ha.

Goochie. ( real Name Paul)
Exeter.

Well done Paul, was listening to it earner, I am so glad I dont live near the studio where they was as I would have went in there and set the record straight live on air, I found that it was one sided most of they way. good on you for fighting the corner of every wfp'er in the uk. Just a shame that Vine did not add that he made a mistake saying about gallons instead of litres, this just goes to show he did not have a clue what he was talking about.
and the other guys that said well they can change to laddders (for his sake I hope some does not fall off a ladder as hes wide open to be sued.

god that annoyed me, and going to listen and tape it as soon as the beeb website (that we pay for) is working. errrm thats another story................

Well I have added my 2 pence worth to him too. I have never liked "fairy" vine because although he has some good topics he never ever bloody Listens and asks the most stupid questions.

I have even put for him to ring me and I will clean hjis windows for him so he can actually judge for himself rather than making assumptions.

i think every wfp window cleaner should email him then maybe he will listen maybe even get an your happy customers to do the same and get it back on air to give both sides of the story, yet again people are looking down there nose at window cleaners, this IMO should stop but with this kind of thing it does not help. cant wait to make a guy this year for the bonfire night (oh forgot thats getting banned as well)  :(

Jes=s .. there is even a vote on there about whether us window cleaners should be exempt.

GET ON THERE AND VOTE!!!!

I did hear part of the show live.. what a load of crap!!!  Except for Paul's part that is.

Anyway it's all just sensationalsism.  Steve Lowe is on the case and has found out the real truth behind what may happen.

In the last drought in the South East WFP'ers and trad WCers continued to work with no probs

As for Mr Lee...   ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  ::)  :-X
