Pocket PC v Palm
« on: November 04, 2004, 05:02:38 pm »
Well,

my old psion revo Pda which has served me well died last night.

Because I,m lazy I had,nt backed anything up so I have lost all my data

Serves me right!

So now I need to buy a new machine

Does anybody have any recomendations as to how I could have a system whereby the jobs entered in the agenda day view could be backed up to PC(windows 98) and automatically generate a reminder letter for cc a year or so later.

Also any ideas about sat nav,as I might as well go the whole hog

Thanks Michel

Thanks Dave,

How easy is it to set up the back up for use. As this is what beat me with the psion. It was so complicated to set up I just could 'nt manage to do it.

Sorry don’t know anything about pda’s or their software. Thanks for reminding me new diary soon!

Believe the sat software is expensive, let me what you get may be able to help (free).
