Hi Guys

How do you feel when a new CC product is launced ?

Cheers

Doug

I know it depends on the company and this is not meant to be taken too seriously .

what you've got to watch is companies who get other to do the B/S...ing for them :o :o

they invite them on pre-launch seminars or ask them them to 'independently' test a new cleaning product, all the time they are playing on their egos, buttering  them up with 'you're so respected that we'd love you to help us test a new product'   they know no one will believe anything they say, so they get others to say it for them.

they play on friendship, I can think of  2 or 3 companies that have friends who would recommend bottled sh*t if they started to sell it

So the self proclaimed "professor" raises his head again to stir up the same old tired, well worn and done to death bull that no doubt the other followers of this scientific god will blindly comment on.

Lets recall that most memorable of quotes of the decade, now what was it again, oh yes thats it, " it will kill babies", presumably pressure was brought to bear from the creators of this WMD to suppress the worlds media from exposing such an unheard of act not seen since the days of the Nazi death camps.

Who on earth would have believed that such a discovery could be unearthed by a collector of websites and yet not a single scientist could carry out such intricate testing to uncover such a plot to eradicate the future generations of this planet with all their knowledge and analytical apparatus at their disposal. They should hang their heads in shame at the knowldege that this earth shattering discovery was made quite accidentally, yet instantly recognised the moment that barbie fell into the bucket containing this dreadful product. Such is the shock I still feel, that i can't even utter its name to this day.

Nominations have been made for entry into next years Noble peace prize on behalf of this leading luminary, reward for such dedicated research should be fully rewarded, and no amount of media suppresion from the creators of such a fiendish product will prevent the truth from being unvielled.

It's clearly someone many know but is hiding his identity to take a swipe at someone who's views he or she does not agree with (or perhaps even someone who is guilty of said BS)

Some of the older threads are worth revisiting for the fresher blood in the industry so that they are encouraged to question opinions and stretch knowledge. If, as an industry, we are not prepared to do this we may as well go back to either stone (for the people who rattle their jewellry) or the real natural look of earth (for those in the cheaper seats).

Keiths previous posts do make interesting reading don't they

"For whatever infantile reasons there may be behind some peoples motives, it doesn't take much intelligence to see straight through such posts and see them for what they really are. Don't insult our intelligence."

Your words, now fill your profile in and don't hide behind a false name?

Thats funny Mike, I just did the same and I have a few thoughts of my own. I was even gonna mention the cold/hot water debate in my post but did'nt want it to look like I was sucking up to Doug (even though I completely agree with him). I'll email you my guess if you'll email me yours.

this is going off topic, the question is are we becoming cynical about new products because of past experiences? perhaps we should look at the the pedigree of the company offering the new product.

I think the key to acceptance of a new product is openness, I'm becoming a big believer in the new encapsulation products because of the vast amount of information given out by the people making & selling it, no mystical promises just common sense chemistry, the manufacturer have nothing to hide, they know people want knowledge of a new product, to understand it.

Its not just chemicals it applies to machinery too.How many people have poo pooed the panthers but many carpet cleaners are running them with very few problems. So who do we believe the suppliers of alternate machines or the people who are using them day in day out.I was all set to buy a panther after visiting woodbridge and Dave Ingram giving it rave reviews then a few weeks later people were complaining how they were having problems with the machines so I decided against buying one.I trusted my own judgement you pay your money and take your chance.

What works for one may not work for another again who do you believe. You have to make your own mind up after considering the views of everyone.
