Stinger 225 pump in Ninja
« on: October 16, 2007, 07:13:59 pm »
I have just bought a 200 psi Stinger 225 pump for my back up Ninja as they were on special offer from A&M cleaning supplies @ £195 + vat & post.

Has anyone fitted this pump to a Ninja?

The only way it seems to fit, is on the base with the pump head against the back of the machine.
Which means I will have to remove the pump to service the head.  ::)

most of the big pumps I've seen fitted to portables have access problems, I had a raptor which you couldn't bolt back down once you'd took it out to change the head, it's all because they want to fit the maximum parts into the smallest space

Now fitted.  ;D

Very pleased with this pump. Runs whisper quite with no vibration and shows 250 psi on guage!

The pump on my hydra raptor is 300psi when you turn the pump on the guage goes to 300psi but when you pull the trigger on the wand it dosent go by 200psi  phoned hydramaster and they said its supposed to be like that.

Darren,

when you pull the triger, the pressure is released through the jetts, so the guage will show less psi....

Thats right John.

On my CFR500 which can adjust up to 500psi - drops to about 300 when trigger pulled. When at 200psi (upholstery) it hangs steady.

Machine up for sale very soon if anyone interested.

Hi Paul
Yep, gone for a 2nd user Recoil 3
I know its not quite the same as a Scorpion but almost there and its in very good working order, and with heater, tanks and 100ft hoses as well.
Probably need a 2nd user CFR Wonderwand so I can sell the CFR as a complete unit - not moving from Wonderwand - good piece of kit.
