I have to agree to a certain extent on Sqeaks comments regarding newbies spouting off, just lately there has been a lot of new comers acting as though they have been in this bizz for years, where as, if the truth were to be told a lot of their knowledge has been gained from forums such as this and they are trying to tell us old uns how to suck eggs.

i have got to stick up for squeeky on this one as his posts are truthfull and he has only stated what a lot of us have already been through, basically squeeky wants to supply customer satisfaction like he has always done in the past and although wfp can do a good job some customers just do not like it and feel robbed, whats more i always used to get comments like ee you do make that look easy and i wish i could run up a ladder like that , now they see a man with a stick spraying water at their windows and cant see any skill involved which in fairness is true.
   keep at it squeeks some of us still live in real world although i wouldnt mind a bit of the £500 a day fantasy stuff if you have some spare.

i totally agree i have only been at this around a year and extremely grateful
to have found this forum and others where i have pulled off all the advice i have
needed and been able to put into practice. down to good advice i have gone quickly
from squeegying and the last few months getting a trolley system and moving onto
a tank and a van.

relatively speaking compared to the people who have been cleaning for years and are running succesful businesses i have little experience,but that doesnt mean i am
not entitled to an opinion,whether you agree, disagree or totally discount it is
for your selves to decide.

The way I see it the only guys making, or should I say turning over big money i.e. vat registered levels, are the people running a business with employees and two or three vans in their company. I don't have a problem with these people they are believable and on the whole pretty genuine and offer good basic advice and often know their tax levels and employer responsibilities inside out. I know exactly where Squeaks is coming from. A lot of us come on here to learn and end up getting advice from others who have been in the business for a fortnight with laughable claims to earnings etc.
 Squeaky is a bit of a wind up merchant, but funny with it, and his problems are the same as most of us. Keep it up. ,

Same here. In a weird, kinda bewildered way I admire Squeaky 

He has been through the mill with his illness probs this year which without WFP he would probably have had to give up window cleaning but he gritted his teeth and took the plunge. OK it's not been a bed of roses for him since the changeover but at least he sticks at it. Good on him!! 

As to the newbie's well I havent been on the forum for all that long but I.ve been a window cleaner for a good few years now.

I put it down to enthusiasm without the benefit of experience that some of the guys post quite a bit of misinformed stuff. The young Jedi Luke is a prime example   I do admire his enthusiasm but in reality he is still very green behind the ears as far as running a window cleaning business goes. ohh and he doesn't like anyone disagreeing with him  lol. He has his latest toy (The Supalight 2) and of course we all should rush and get one on his say so. I think that I will let time and more experienced WFP users who have or still do use other poles that they can compare to influence whether or not I get one.

I have always found Squeaks to be really rather amusing, his avatars seem to sum him up really, I won't therefore mention his last one  but 2 nights ago I was on here having a browse and read etc etc but couldnt stop laughing, he may or may not be encouraging in the worksense, who kows, but funny, he certainly is.

Also, the big 'I ams' that have been on here lately, one in particular, I agree are just so annoying. I'm sure they dont fool anyone, well, I doubt they do; and if they do earn what theyre spouting they do I'd rather doubt their professionalism and quality of work.

For a number of years you have been the party pooper...you have money to pay for dvd's...blah, blah....now do you have the same cash to pay your taxes which you so regulary complain about not having the readies to pay for?

Does'nt matter what you do re: advertising, graphics, leaflets....I would imagine your fellow w/c in your area see you as no threat at all.

As for being faster , better and all that...perhaps so, but then again I am not seeing the incredible losses your are suffering.

Month on month growth occurs within my 'fantasy' world and is just a fact...ok so I do not earn 500 a day but it's healthy none the less...week in, week out and you?

For some reason when reading your many backposts you seem to have the ability to 'draw in' sympathy...

Very much like an injured dog...I would not know whether to get you treatment in the vain hope you would pull through or just have you put down to put you out of your misery.

I get wound up by the crap that's getting spouted by the new members lately.
Most of whom don't even put their name or location, as they're so false.

I make my comments as a direct result of your statements within this forum and just felt the need to tell you how I felt....if I knew you, I would be so inclined to tell you directly...but as we know each other here...I told you here.

As a oldtimer here you have felt the need to tramp upon 'newbies' as you put it...well my freind just to put it into perspective a number of those are doing very well and may well be creating 'little empires' that are growing faster than you have lost business.
