Why isn't there a brush out there with a center section of stiff bristles that are shorter than the rest? Then when you press harder and splay the normal bristes the stiff shorter ones would come into contact automatically to remove baked on poo/eggs etc.
............ or has this been done already.

thats no problem for me because I have the Gardiners gooseneck with an aluminium sharp thread, it just cuts a thread easily into plastics, Luke

I still do not know how effective Dual-trim brushes are and I am using one!
Most of the time just the outer bristle work anyway, they are good on Georgian though as the inner bristle do not catch on the bars.
We have a new brush in development and that is going to be a dual-trim as it will keep those clients that like them happy and those that don't need them can just enjoy the rest of the bristles.

I think you only need a small central area of stiff bristles for those tough bits otherwise if you only use the outer section you would end up with a very small footprint for every day work.

i tend to agree alex, but i do prefer them
i find the results are a lot better with the movement of water of the window, seems to leave a cleaner window, would be interesting to try a dual-trim with sill ability factored into it.
as long as its light thats my main requirement
