Evening,
Talking to a mate today, also wfp, he reckons I can apply to the water board to use water from street hydrants/stand pipes, whatever theyre called. Permits are available and your given a meter and pay for its use. Does anyone have any knowledge of this?
I'm in a flat with limited space, small van and ro and about 200ltr holding tank,. My round is expanding and all thats holding me back is the amount of water I can store. I would like to upgrade to an on demand ro in the van, with a tank obviously but the advantages to me would be not having my flat cluttered with hoses, ro sub pump and tank, I could fill up during the day pretty much anywhere I'm working. I'm already on a meter anyhow so pay for what I use. The costs may even be less perhaps as I would'nt be paying sewage costs?

Is this possible? anybody know?
I will enquire with the water board but thought I would ask here first.
Thanks
Simon
