i fill my 650 litre tank up about 6-8 inches from the top and after driving a bit and the water splashing around the top of the tank has a puddle on it. its not the breather cos i've already silicone it up, its gotta be coming out the lid?

should there be a rubber seal in the lid or not?

any help please , fed up with water on my back every time i brake

yes, it comes from around that rubber seal, just cover it it with a cloth, Luke

def should have a rubber seal... nothing gets past mine,  just my coonector that drips... on hose reel....

it doesn't have a rubber seal, it's an upright, not sure if that makes a difference???

mine also drips from hose reel, that drives me mad as well, but the one thing that really really annoys me is the fact that my connecter fron the pole can manage to get caught on everything! this is no excageration either, it will catch onto the smallest  lip ever on the paving slabs and it always seems as though you just havent got enough by about  a foot!!!! how anoyying??

The lid on your upright tank should have a large black O ring seated inside the lid.  Perhaps this has fallen out?  Your tank supplier should be able to get hold of another one for you.  A point to note, if you fit this O ring and you've siliconed up the breather, then there is a good chance of crushing your tank under the pressure of your delivery pump unless of course you have fitted a secondary breather to the tank.  The way we get round this is to tape up the breather inside and then put a small hole just 1mm across in the tape.  This allows just enough air in to the tank but not enough to splash through.

I have and have had exactly the same problem since i have had my system,i spoke to wyvale and they made me different O rings and it made no difference what so ever.They made me some filters to put just inside the tank and this also didn`t do the job,some tanks that are made have dodgy threads and that`s the problem,i now don`t fill mine right up otherwise the van gets soaked in the footwells that`s how much water comes out.

The only way round it is to replace the tank-tanks,next time i`m going for a flat 650 with 1 lid and i`m going to test it next time before it`s fitted,the less lids the better.
