Hi Alex
Just to clear a couple of points up having never used a S-L
Can 1 man easily lift the pole up from the ground when extended to 45ft?
(i.e. not walking it up a wall)
I would want to use a rec' vikan but i take all the excess black stock off them first (for a couple of reasons) so i suppose mine are a wee bit lighter than standard. would this be ok?
thanks
tony

Hi Macmac,
It is relatively easy to lift the Super-Lite up off the ground at 45ft. This is my preferred method of use. I hold the pole about 5-6ft in from the base at waist height and pull up with one hand and lever down with the other and the pole lifts up very straightforwardly.
The video link on our site shows a 40ft Super-Lite 1 being lifted this way. See below:

I have used the Super-Lite 2 with a 600g brush and lifted it off the ground at 45ft with it on and whilst it has had more flex on it, it has still been fine. I would always recommend the lightest brush possible, have you tried the brush that comes as standard with it, you will be pleasantly surprised by its efficacy.
