I got my 45ft Super-lite 2 this morning.....WOW, here are some pictures I took of it:





as you can see it is very very stiff, the picture above doesnt show the 2 sections out of shot, so it is higher than in the picture but I couldnt get it all in my viewfinder.









I zoomed in right to the brush for this one, and even though ocassionaly the brush was getting covered by a little cloud I got a good picture which is testimony to its strength that I could focus so easily on it with one hand while holding it up.



A picture of the joints up 40ft, you can see about 4 or 5 sections in this picture and hardly any bend, the white marks is my bad job of the PTFE spray!

this pictures important because it demonstrates how light the pole is because I was able to hold it up with one hand and do a macro shot of a tiny insect in my mums hand!!!





Well, I love it, what more can I say. You can lift it from horizontal at 45ft!!! it weighs less than my 18ft xtel and its so light that you can hold it above your head to clean, so you get an extra 5ft of reach!! A nice holdall is included and I must add that the really strong plastic angle adapter are used, as I have some horrible bendy ones. A colour instruction manual is included and other things! SO, is the hose running inside the pole on the new superlites?

The old ones used to run outside.

How do you adjust for height if it runs inside?

no it runs outside, I just wanted good clean and clear pictures so I didnt assemble it, it is really easy to do though, all you do is strap it outside with the velcro straps provided, Luke

just to tell you how stiff and light it is, for the two top pictures I had my DISABLED mum hold it, she has had serious spinal operations and has to walk using a walking stick, so if she can hold it, I think most can! it is also has really strong sections. You might have seen the videos of Alex battering it against a tree, sitting on it and standing on it!! Luke

Do the straps stay on each section or are they loose? I only ask as I think they would slip down the pole.

Has Alex tried using guides on the outside. Such as you would find on an actual fishing rod to carry the line. Obviously I am talking about a bigger ring than you find on a fishing rod but you get the idea.

I am also wondering what is the minimum hose diameter you could get away with? Anyone experimented?

Ionics black hose is 5.5mm inner 8mm outer. Pretty light, but has anyone tried a thinner one?

this hose is very light and the straps dont fall down. Everything on this pole is built for lightenss. Luke
