Well my own house was the first victim to this weapon, I have in the past done my own guttering and all from a ladder, today I tried my new gutter lance on it? and WOW!
It used to take me around 30-40 minutes to do a complete side, today it took me just over 10 minutes to do the whole section, this included guttering in and out, fascias and soffits, (Mind you my soffit is only 3'' wide) I didn't do a type of job I would do for a custy, today was a training day, but the overall results were very good.
I even took the time to do my workshop guttering, but oops I forgot that most of the clips were broken and I blasted my workshop guttering up onto the roof, but I'm glad this happened to me and not a custy, its something I will be aware of when I price a potential or existing custy in the future.
Its a heavy bit of kit, so I better get the dumb bells out, I also think I should buy the harness.
I said to the Boss, I would feel a little guilty about taking the same sort of money for a job that used to take me maybe an hour and a half and is now going to be done in less than half the time, she reminded me that we have invested a lot of money for my safety and customers don't really care how you do the job, so long as its a good Job, good choice of words I thought, so my price's will stay the same.
I now have one of my daughter booked in for a freebie (well fried breakfast) gutter clean she has white guttering were mine is that Grey stuff
So it will be nice to see what sort of Job it does on them.
