Hi all, My TDS readings are just starting to rise, so I've ordered resin ready for a change. What advice would you give me to do this successfully? I,ve tried searching, but can't find what I need. If it's already been discussed (which I'm sure it will have been), point me in the right direction.

What sort of DI vessel have yo got?

Not sure exactly  It is a 10.5 litre cylinder with HST stamped on it. The top must be threaded and the in and out flow are on that top.

Just make sure the little filter on the top and bottom, and the long tube is in place before you tighten it up.  If they become misplaced it can lead to the water not passing through the resin properly.

Rinse it out using pure water fill it up to the neck of the vessel,pack it down and screw the top back on and let the water run through it until the reading comes back down to 000.

Yes,don`t let the resin dry out or it will be useless.

Thanks, I reckon I've got a bit of life in the resin yet. I should be prepared when it comes.

When you tip the resin in, make sure none goes down the hole in the riser tube.  Maybe stick a bit of tape over it while filling.  Don't forget to take it off again before screwing the top back on though

Don't know what everyone else does but I used a toothbrush to clear the threads out after spooning the resin in.

That's a good one - provided you don't brush your teeth with it afterwards.
