Hi All
Im doing the LTT leather course next week, not expecting to walk away a expert but I should be competent to clean any may be, do minor repairs.
Question 1 ,What sort of money can get for this type of work?   2   setup , how much do I need to get kitted out?  3  Marketing , do I do it seperatly or alongside the carpet cleaning?

If you're already booked on the LTT course then most of these questions will be answered there.

The LTT Technicians full kit is excellent value and a must if you are serious about restoring leathers.

Like everything the money side varies depending on your area, reputation, client base, etc.

Most people run this and advertise this alongside their carpet cleaning business.

You'll enjoy the course, and also Harrogate is a very nice town to spend a couple of days in.

When I first started I picked up an old leather settee that was going to the rubbish tip and practiced on it for a good while, both cleaning and restoring scratches/holes etc.  Recolouring is by far the hardest job

you'll only get the answer to question 2 on the course.

market it with your carpet cleaning, put it on your leaflet, on your business card,

every time you see a leather suite remind them to always use the protector cream that came with the suite, you can guess what they say when you tell them that

I get the same price as a fabric suite but it is quicker to do
