You'll love it, charge the battery over night, and read the instructions.

No I put it on a folding trolley, I only use mine for the occasional jobs, good bit of kit.

Going to be my main gear to begin with, but to be honest, it will be slow for a few months anyway

The problem with an ordinary sack truck is with access to the switch.
That's why I use a shopping trolley frame. If you see an old dear with one in the street, grab it. Or do what I did and buy one for a quid at the car boot

The folding trolley has holes in just the right place to activate the switch.

I wear my back pack and use it nearly 100% of the time. I found it uncomfortable at first but it really has saved me so much time. This is the one piece of kit I would not be without.

I bought mine from Window Cleaning Warehouse. They were doing a promotion and selling them for £159.99 + VAT and free delivery. That I thought was best and I got it next day! :)

I took mine into Pirtek and they adapted the end so it took Microbore fittings which I have on all my poles. They also put a tap on it for me which meant that I didnt have to keep reaching for the switch. There are guys that have managed to incorporate the trigger from the lance but I chose not to. I fill mine form the tank in the van by using a 12v submersible pump. The backpack fills inside 90 seconds so its really quick. I am sure many people use different methods so I suppose it's just a case of working out which suits you best.

Hi Mate,

Good luck with your backpack, I've had mine 2 weeks. I got mine from cleantech and to be honest they were brilliant with me. I bought the backpack and a 30 foot universal pole to get started which came in at around £420 but its a fantastic piece of kit and I would say get one as soon as you have the money.......then get out canvassing because you will fly through your work. I have to say though the lad I dealt with at cleantech was brilliant and the backpack came fully assembled ready to work. I'm sure it was even charged, all I had to do was fill it up and off I went happy as Larry. Honestly I was putting bits and pieces off, not buying them and now I wish I'd put every spare penny into getting the kit because its amazing.
