hi guys

i am having a problem with my pump and hope that someone can offer advice. when i fill my tank and switch the pump on it takes ages for it to start pumping solution. i need to shake the solution hose which makes it kick in. when it starts it is perfect but i look a bit silly shaking my hose(excuse the pun)

try fitting an open-ended quick connector on the end of  your solution line and point it into your clean tank, it might  need priming before working

Mike you were spot on mate, connected an open ender and the problem was solved, so thank you for the advice.

Scott certainly gave great advice in regards to solving your problem. And, it sure is a quick and easier way to try first.

Also, in the future, always consider the possibility that if the pump does not pull down water into the pump cavitity it also ------could be------pump valve replacement time.

I had same problem in the past.

I found out my pump pressure had also dropped and I required new pump head.  Its not not till its changed you realise how bad it had got.

So a service sounds like a good idea.
